Archrock Management Efficiency

Archrock has return on total asset (ROA) of 3.1 % which means that it generated profit of $3.1 on every $100 spent on asset. This is normal as compared to the sector avarege. Similarly, it shows return on stockholders equity (ROE) of 2.87 %, meaning that it created $2.87 on every $100 dollars invested by stockholders. Archrock management efficiency ratios could be used to measure how well the company manages its routine affairs as well as how well it operates its assets and liabilities. The current year Return on Investment is expected to grow to 4.80. The current year Return on Average Assets is expected to grow to 0.0119. The current year Total Assets is expected to grow to about 2.8 B. The current year Current Assets is expected to grow to about 191.5 M
The company currently holds 1.53 B in liabilities with Debt to Equity (D/E) ratio of 1.76, which is about average as compared to similar companies. Archrock has a current ratio of 1.15, suggesting that it is in a questionable position to pay out its financial obligations when due. Debt can assist Archrock until it has trouble settling it off, either with new capital or with free cash flow. So, Archrock's shareholders could walk away with nothing if the company can't fulfill its legal obligations to repay debt. However, a more frequent occurrence is when companies like Archrock sell additional shares at bargain prices, diluting existing shareholders. Debt, in this case, can be an excellent and much better tool for Archrock to invest in growth at high rates of return. When we think about Archrock's use of debt, we should always consider it together with cash and equity.

The ability to find closely correlated positions to Archrock could be a great tool in your tax-loss harvesting strategies, allowing investors a quick way to find a similar-enough asset to replace Archrock when you sell it. If you don't do this, your portfolio allocation will be skewed against your target asset allocation. So, investors can't just sell and buy back Archrock - that would be a violation of the tax code under the "wash sale" rule, and this is why you need to find a similar enough asset and use the proceeds from selling Archrock to buy it.

This measure is expressed in what is known as the correlation coefficient, which ranges between -1 and +1. A perfect positive correlation (i.e., a correlation coefficient of +1) implies that as Archrock moves, either up or down, the other security will move in the same direction. Alternatively, perfect negative correlation means that if Archrock moves in either direction, the perfectly negatively correlated security will move in the opposite direction.
