Prior to joining Raytheon in 1999, he served United Technologies Corporationrationration as President of its Pratt Whitney Large Military Engines Group since 1996. He joined United Technologies Corporationrationration in 1980 and held a variety of senior leadership positions. Mr. Tookes was a Lieutenant Commander and pilot in the U.S. Navy and later served as a commercial pilot with United Airlines.
